Midday Naptime

As we washed the lunch dishes, on this warm afternoon, my family was sure that my excitement over the cows was only an effort to get out of helping. It might have been, but I truly did see something of great interest in the contrasting shades of color and value. This is the first painting that I have kept for myself for reasons you can read about in my biography. Hint, its about the red ear tag!
