Golden Hollyhocks

I am ever grateful to the gentleman farmer that created this bright spot, I called him Grandpa Carlson like all the other family that lived nearby. He took me under his wing and loved me like one of his own.  I learned in that brief time that he cared for “his” people, like he cared for “his” garden, and all thrived under his tender care.  I will always remember those nurturing lessons in this beautiful valley with gratitude and love for “Grandpa”
