Fountain of Pure Water

While standing in this spot, near Big Springs Missouri, we witnessed the impressive 286 million gallons per day bubbling up out of the limestone. If you are following the Book of Mormon in the Heartland Research, you will recognize this spot as "The Waters of Mormon", but regardless of whether you hold to that theory, this area is full of history and has been loved by many people for a long time. The Book of Mormon is not so much about a particular place, but it's about people who knew Christ and wanted to testify of him. The pure testimony of the Book of Mormon was brought up from the earth and is now flowing to all people.
