Escalante Kodachrome Basin II

The desert has so many mysteries! This rainy cold day we gave up on having a leisurely nap after lunch, instead we ended up running for our vehicle to escape the pelting rain. The swift moving storm however, rewarded us for what had been stolen with the most enchanting stage play of light and shadow I have ever seen.
