Double Arch

My Grandfather Winn was a photographer and amateur painter. While cleaning out my parents’ home, I came across an envelope of old negatives in a box of family heirlooms. I developed them and discovered the black & white photo of Double Arch in Arches National Park that I recognized as his reference for a painting he had done and hung in his home. I thought of my grandpa the entire time I was painting from his old photo reference.
