Chagrin River

Artists are always looking for ways to make their art more meaningful and that’s why when I started painting church history sites I grew to love it so much. My ancestors were a part of this history so even if it doesn’t resonate with others, it means something to me. I really appreciated going to these places and seeing the places that such sacrifices were made. This one is on the Chagrin River near the Kirtland Temple. The river was occasionally dammed so that saints could perform baptisms here.
