This was a day when my friends and I went out to paint. We chose to sit by the stream. The moving water was so entrancing. They say there was gold mined in this area and families traveled these hills. I wasn’t looking for hard rock gold, but I did find for myself gold amongst the leaves and light that glittered all around me.
